I’m probably one of the few, who was in an air raid shelterduring the First World War. Then, we lived opposite the post office, at the train station in Brunecker Strasse, which originally was called Bahn Strasse. And shortly before the end of World War I, during an air raid, I was sitting in Brunecker Strasse in a cellar - back then not yet an air raid shelter - but modified, at least there was a four storey house above us.
